Plot

The Jubilee Express

The following story adolescent Jubilee Dougal lives in Richmond, Virginia. He had been forced to spend Christmas Eve away from his girlfriend Noah, and with his grandparents after his parents were arrested for participating in a riot over a set of miniature ornamental houses - Flobie Santa Village - with one of his pieces, Jubilee Hall. While on a train trip to his grandparents' place in Florida, Jubilee meets Jeb, who tries to contact his girlfriend at home but can not find a cell phone service. He also meets with a group of cheerleaders, whom he tries to keep away from them because they're a bitch. He gets more and more annoyed after the train gets stuck in Gracetown in a big snowstorm on Christmas Eve. While trying to call his girlfriend Noah, he meets Stuart who, feeling sorry for him and his situation, invites him to his home. After dinner, Stuart's mother commented that she had not seen this happy Stuart before she found her boyfriend betraying him. Meanwhile, Jubilee keeps telling Stuart about how beautiful Noah was, only to realize that Noah never contacted him that night. He called Noah and confronted him. When Noah was unable to respond to his question of why he could not at least show concern, he broke up with him, realizing Noah was not the perfect boyfriend Jubilee had said. Stuart came to cheer Jubilee and two kisses. Feeling guilty, Jubilee tries to sneak out and be found by Stuart, who tells him that everything will be fine and does not let Noah walk around him. Her phone rang with a phone call from Noah, just for the Jubilee to throw the phone into the snow and kiss Stuart, then both walk back to her house together.

The Cheerful Christmas Wonders

The story begins with a boy, Tobin, and his friends, Duke (a tomboyish girl whose real name is Angie), and JP, who watches the movie at Tobin's house while his parents are out of town. They are lured to the local Waffle House by phone call from their friend Keun, who tells them that a bunch of cheerleaders have entered the shop and are practicing their routine, and asking to play Twister . Thinking that traveling to a restaurant with a game would be a waste of time, Duke was initially reluctant to leave but was persuaded by Tobin, who told him that there would be hashbrowns. On the way to Waffle House, the trio hit a snow cliff near the restaurant, losing a tire. They decide to throw away their car and walk the rest of the way to Waffle House. They soon meet the twins Timmy and Tommy Reston in their Ford Mustang, who was also invited to Waffle House by Keun's friend. A brief misunderstanding arose between them. Tommy then drove to Waffle House, only to be hit by a snow plowed by the side of the road. The Reston twins tried to pursue the trio on foot, but JP slowed it down. When they escape from the twins, the trio realize that they accidentally left the game Twister in the car and had to return for it. When they return to collect the game, they meet the twins again, this time in their car. Another high-speed pursuit in the city took place later, separating JP from Duke and Tobin. They all approached the Waffle House, where JP magically entered and locked the door. He prevents the twins from entering, but allows the way for Duke and Tobin. Once inside, they meet another character, Jeb, who is still trying to reach his girlfriend. He asks if they know someone by the name of Addie, and Tobin says no. Jeb then asks them that if they see him to please tell him that he's delayed, say that he'll know what he means. Tobin tries to have a conversation with one of the cheerleaders, only to see the Duke disappear. When Tobin finds him on the sidewalk outside the Waffle House, Duke, obviously upset and weeping, expressed his sentiments towards Tobin, saying he is jealous about Tobin interacting differently with cheerleaders and being treated as a man. Feeling guilty, Tobin confesses to Duke about his true feelings for her and both share a kiss. They become a couple and both know that they love each other.

Saint Pig's Guardian

The third story follows a girl named Addie, who is depressed by breaking up with her boyfriend Jeb. The background of his relationship with Jeb is told, about how the two fall instantly, but Addie keeps trying to change Jeb. This resulted in Jeb feeling inferior and quarreling. After one bout, Addie gets drunk and flirts with someone else, tells Jeb that it's over. Upset, Jeb rides the train to meet his family on Indian reservation, Addie has unwittingly sent him an apology email and hopes to solve the problem. When he does not call or respond, Addie assumes that the relationship is over and cuts his hair short and dips it into pink as a way to show that he wants a change. He calls his friends to talk, only for them to tell him that he can absorb himself and not think of anyone else. Disagreeing, he declares that in the morning he will get his friend's tea cups, Tegan, while he is taking a break from work at Starbucks. The next morning at work Addie ends up getting caught up in a conversation with a woman who claims to be a "Christmas Angel" and says that people forget to do things for others when they engage in themselves. This causes him to forget to take a pig, which has been adopted by others. Upset, Addie managed to get the address of the woman who adopted the pig, who eventually became the woman she spoke to earlier. The woman tells Addie that she took a pig to teach her a lesson and gave Addie a pig. Addie then went back to work, where she saw Stuart and Jubilee and Tobin and Angie, couples from two previous stories. Tobin looks at the label of his name, which prompts him to tell him that he has met Jeb and that he has a message from him. After hearing the message, Addie's spirit rose and suddenly Jeb came into the shop, after arriving some time after the other. Both hugs, and then Jeb tells him about his train journey and his attempt to call him. When he tells him about the things he sees on the street, Tobin and Duke are drawn into the conversation when they tell them that they have gone to see them at Waffle House. Jubilee then realizes how everyone's life has been put together and how things have changed for the better. Addie was so happy that she let everyone's voice out of her mind and Jeb kissed her.
