This is a more general list of the English volleyball jargon terms:
There is no absolute standard for the naming set, so there can be several different names for each set type.
- A Ã,: A set of back rows pointing to the left side of the court [ A | B || C | D]. It can also be a quick set to the middle.
- B Ã,: A set of back rows leads to the left side of the center of the court [A | B || C | D].
- Back-Two : A set of relatively high balls and to the center or to the right side of the bat, just behind the setter.
- Back-One : A set of relatively low (or fast) balls to the middle or right-sided hammer, right behind the setter.
- Bick Ã,: Similar to "Pipe", but it's set very low (name comes from B ack qu ick )
- C Ã,: A set of back rows pointing to the right side of the center of the court [A | B || C | D].
- Chaos : An outer part where the middle runs one, the exterior comes to two from the middle shoulder, and the weak side runs behind to hit the outside 3.
- D Ã,: A set of back rows pointing to the right side of the court [A | B || C | D ].
- Five Ã,: Same as four sets, but for the weak/opposite side batter.
- Four / Back : Set height to strong sided/outfielder.
- Go Ã,: A set to the outside bat, higher than the shoot but lower and faster than the hut.
- Hut / Loop : Set lower to the outside bat. Higher than shooting.
- Jones Ã,: Variations "Chaos" where the middle runs one, the outside appears for "back 2," and weakside comes to hit "outside 3." The tuner can choose to set the ball to one of three hit options. The game is designed so that the setter is able to accommodate the set according to where the block is positioned.
- One / Quick / Fifty-One Ã,: Type middle punch when middle jump before setter set, with ball set directly to hand of the middle bat.
- Pipe Ã,: A set of back rows addressed in the middle of the court between B and C-ball [A | B | ^ | C | D].
- Shocker : The attack where the middle runs one, instead comes to two from the middle shoulder, and the outside runs/glides around to hit two backs.
- Shoot Ã,: Variations on the quick set, instead of setting the ball to the center of the ball set to the outside bat.
- Step/Slide Ã,: Attack where the hammer falsified the quick-set approach (one) with his first step and then chases the ball behind the setter and parallel the net, leap from one foot and touch the ball close to the antenna on the weak side.
- Ten Ã,: A set of balls for rear-line attacks.
- Three / Thirty Three : Set it faster out.
- Thirty-two : An attack in which the beatter falses a quick-set approach (one) with his first step and then chases the ball in front of the setter and parallels the net, jumps off one leg and hits the ball in position 3 outside. Generally used as a customized version of Slide for left-handed swordsman.
- Two Ã,: A ball is set to the middle bat. Also, "back two" is the same set behind the setter.
- Cross (X) Ã,: A game where the middle batter jumps for one, and the weak side hitter, after moving to the middle of the field, takes the approach to two in the same location.
- Thirty-One / Inside the Shoot Ã,: A game where the batter is running a ball halfway between the center and the outside.
- Stack / Tandem Ã,: Similar to "cross" but the outside batter hits both balls.
- Thirty Piles Ã,: A game in which the batter is running thirty-one and the outer batter runs thirty-two.
- Shaft Ã,: Set deep pipe, generally set to high.
- The middle finger ball : When libero takes the approach and jumps as if hitting the ball one, make as much noise as possible to distract the other team. This will hopefully lead to blockers jumping with libero, even though there is no threat of attack. Usually used by winning teams with significant margins.
