He was a member of the first cheerleading squad for the San Francisco 49ers in 1983 and was in the cheerleading squad for 7 years. In 1992, he became director of the 49ers Cheerleaders and held this position for 5 years. He coordinated cheerleaders for the San Diego Chargers and founded the NFL Pro Bowl Cheerleaders in 1992.
Angela made history as the only NFL director to direct both cheerleading teams in the Super Bowl, (Super Bowl XXIX); directing the San Diego Filling Girl and the San Francisco 49er Gold Rush. In the NBA, Angela coordinates the dancers to the Los Angeles Clippers, the Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings.
In 1989, he founded the first company in professional sports to design and produce uniforms for professional sports guides and dancers. King-Twitero developed the first technique to apply rhinestones to dance wear with an adhesive that allows stretch fabrics. He was on the development team for Capezio Ballet Dancers who created the first cheer/dance boots designed to ease stunting and pointed at the toes.
King-Twitero received an award from Sports Illustrated in 2001 for Best Costume Design which highlights his work on the XFL cheerleader uniform. The design gets attention from publications such as Women's Wear Daily , Wall Street Journal , USA Today , Star and People . The design was chosen for the VH1 TV show costume Hit The Floor for several seasons.
In 2002, he wrote the first book for a candidate for a professional team. As the national spokesperson for the professional community, she appears in Night Entertainment , Extras , ESPN and other radio and television shows.
