The Jingle Bell Ball is a concert held every year in December, by the Capital radio station at The O2 Arena. Artists with titles are Janet Jackson, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Take That, The Black Eyed Peas, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Jessie J, Katy Perry, Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Little Mix, Ellie Goulding and P! Nk. Other famous actors who have performed in Ball include, Westlife, One Direction, Cheryl Cole, JLS, Miley Cyrus, The Pussycat Dolls, Taio Cruz, Two Lipa, David Guetta, Liam Payne, Shawn Mendes, Major Lazer, Eliza Doolittle, Jason Derulo , The Chainsmokers, The Wanted, 5 Seconds of Summer, OneRepublic, Calvin Harris, and Niall Horan. It claimed that a portion of the ticket sales profits were donated to Global Make Some Noise, Capital's main charity, formerly known as Child Help Capital and Child Help London.

Cee Lo Green was originally scheduled to perform on Saturday, but, due to snow, his flight was rescheduled to the next day and he performed on Sunday.

The 2011 event was held again for two nights with Capital announced on October 28. Capital also confirmed that Olly Murs will be the first action for a Saturday appearance on the same day.
Tickets for the concert on Saturday were released on October 31, 2011 at 08:00 and sold out in just three hours.

The first ticket for the event was given as part of the first Global Make Day Noise on October 8, 2014 even though at that time the date for the event was not confirmed. It was later revealed that the date is December 6 and 7, 2014. It is confirmed at Capital FM on October 20 that the Jingle Bell Ball will be back, sponsored by Morrisons main supermarket chains. All information about the ball was announced on 3 November 2014. It was held at the O2 Arena London on 6 and 7 December 2014, with acts like OneRepublic, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Jessie J performing. The British boy band Take It is titled on Saturday while the worldwide sensation and American pop star, the world's best singer, Taylor Swift is titled on Sunday. Tickets for the general release go on sale on Friday 7 November. Tickets for both dates sold out in less than an hour, which is a record. 5 Seconds of Summer performed on the show as three pieces as the band member Michael Clifford was unable to fly due to the loss of his passport.

Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon revealed that the 2015 event will be held again at the O2 Arena London on Saturday 5 December and Sunday 6 December during the Capital Breakfast on Monday 2 November 2015. For the first time since 2013, the sponsors are Coca-Cola. Tickets were released on November 5, with pre-sales taking place within the weeks leading up to it. Both headliners were announced on Friday 6 November at Capital Breakfast. On Monday 23 November, Tinie Tempah and Katy B were added to the lineup, while Carly Rae Jepsen added the following day. Ariana Grande was supposed to perform on Saturday but resigned for unknown reasons. Marvin Humes confirmed via Twitter that she was doing a Pre-show DJ Set on both days. On December 5th, Coldplay is the top leader and Justin Bieber is the leader on December 6th.

On Tuesday 29 November Sigma and Russell Howard added to Night 2. Capital FM confirmed via Twitter that Marvin Humes will open the first night. On October 30, 2017, during his Breakfast show, Roman Kemp confirmed that the Jingle Bell Ball will run on Saturday 9 & amp; Sunday 10 December 2017. On Monday, November 6th, Roman Kemp and Vick Hope confirmed the lineup for the first night and on Tuesday 7 November, the lineup for the second night was revealed. Headliner for every night was Sam Smith for the first night and Ed Sheeran for the second night. It will return to the O2 Arena. Rita Ora opened for one night while Taylor Swift opened two nights. Major Lazer appeared as a duo because Jillionaire did not appear for unknown reasons.

The event was broadcast live on nine radio station Capital network for the first time in 2010. The production was presented by Bassam, Bass Burns, Will Cozens, and Rich Clarke from James Bassman. Sponsors
The first concert in 2008 was sponsored by Zavvi. In 2009, Windows 7 became a sponsor, along with stacking for the launch of the operating system. The sponsorship continues through 2011. During the event's sponsorship, prizes include thousands of tickets for balls, laptops, holidays, game consoles, smartphones and money in the air.
In 2012, BlackBerry sponsored the concert in a last-minute deal. In 2013, the event was sponsored by Coca-Cola. In 2014, Morrisons emerged as a new sponsor. In 2015, 2016 and 2017, Coca-Cola sponsors the show again.
