Cheerleader Ninjas is a 2002 action/action film directed by Kevin Campbell, starring actress Kira Reed, and from production company Control Track Productions. It precedes the same named George Takei comedy Ninja Cheerleaders vehicle. In the film, the internet must be saved from the control of religious fanaticism groups by four cheerleader ninjutsu students and their geek allies. The film was filmed in Englewood High School.

Plot summary
Four cheerleaders from Happy Valley High Hamsters were blamed by a group of Church Ladies for the "Internet smut" invasion into their children's bedroom. The Church Ladies hired Stephen, a gay teacher from the local Parochial Reform School, to teach cheerleaders a lesson by training a group of evil Catholic school girls.
On the other hand, Mr. X, a malicious puppeteer using cheerleaders as a guinea pig to test his Zombie Domination software. So the cheerleaders turn to their social enemies, computer enthusiasts, to help them learn the Ninja's abilities and defeat the evil Catholic Girls, Stephen and Mr. X is mysterious.

Reception
Movie Threats gave a four-star movie, stating that the show was "pretty good, especially for the subject we're dealing with". The underground movie encyclopedia finds it more bloody than funny.
Remake
It was made again as a Cheerleaders Ninja starring George Takei.
