The National Cheerleading Championship , better known by its abbreviation NCC , is the first and only cheerleading competition in the Philippines that uses American cheerleading rules and regulations. The annual competition, which began in 2006, is modeled after a competitive cheerleading competition in the US. It is the only Filipino cheerleading organization that has brought American famous names in cheers to assess the competition, as well as its camp and training sessions.
The NCC is a member of the Philippine Cheerleading Alliance (PCA), the official body for cheerleaders in the Philippines.

History
The National Cheerleading Championship started as a one-day cheerleading invitation championship in 2006. It started with two divisions, High School and High School divisions, made up of ten teams and, held at the Araneta Coliseum. The inaugural event was judged by invited American judges, such as Joe Jackson of the Cheerleaders of America (COA), also with Filipino names known in Filipino cheerleading. In 2008, twenty-nine teams from all countries participated in the competition securing their titles as the only national cheerleading competition in the Philippines. In 2009, the first regional qualification was held among the three major cities in the Philippines. In 2010, with eighty-five teams joining the qualification, regional qualification expanded to six; the division also expanded to six. In 2011, the divisions were expanded to eight, and the National Dance Championships were inaugurated with 23 participating teams.

- To promote the International Competitive cheerleading sport as a means of enhancing the local caliber of cheerleading;
- To promote good ideas of sportsmanship, personal integrity and accountability, teamwork and community activities;
- To develop cheerleaders who have world-class cheerleading skills and abilities;
- To develop an expert and knowledgeable cheerleader trainer in world-class training methods and expertise;
- To standardize and instill competitive cheerleading rules and regulations and develop world-class and international training methods and skills;
- To establish the National Cheerleading Organization to provide products and services and facilities for networks for the cheerleading community;
- To hold a Country Cheerleading Premiere Tournament as a means to showcase the cheerleading skills and talents of the country;
- and can send the Philippine contingent to an international cheerleading competition.
Vision
The National Cheerleading Championship's vision is to become the premier organization for cheerleading advancements as a sport through the development and training of world class cheerleading athletes by providing international standard training, service and facilities, and a place for national cheerleading tournaments..
