Jamie Merill Babbit (born November 16, 1970) is an American film director, producer and screenwriter. He directed the Movies But I'm the Cheerleader The Quiet and The Itty Bitty Titty Committee . Early life and education

Babbit was born in Shaker Heights, Ohio. He grew up in Cleveland with his father, a lawyer and law school professor, and his mother who runs a youth treatment program with drugs and alcohol problems, before his death in 2006. Careers
