N.E.R.D.S is a children's humor series written by Michael Buckley and illustrated by Ethen Beavers. The first novel is called N.E.R.D.S.: National Espionage, Rescue, and Defense Society and this is from the point of view of "Braceface" Jones. The second novel is called N.E.R.D.S.: M is for Mama's Boy and comes from Duncan's "Gluestick" Dewey's point of view. The third novel is called N.E.R.D.S.: Cheerleaders of Doom , which is told from the perspective of Matilda "Wheezer" Choi. The fourth novel is called N.E.R.D.S.: The Villain Virus , which is told from the point of view of Julio "Flinch" Escala. The fifth novel is called N.E.R.D.S.: Attack of the Bullies , which is told from the perspective of Ruby "Pufferfish" Peet. An animated feature film based on the series is being developed at Elton John Rocket Pictures.

NERDS: M is for Mama's Boy (2010)
Duncan "Gluestick" Dewey and the rest of the team will fight the evil agent Heathcliff "Choppers" Hodges, Albert's computer genius, and squirrels who plan to sterilize computers around the world. Things get more complicated when teams are stripped of their power and have to rely on their resources to save the day. When a device that can warp through an alternate dimension built by cheerleader and former N.E.R.D.S. member of Gerdie "Mathlete" Baker, Matilda "Wheezer" Choi, who has a hatred of anything feminine should set aside it to infiltrate a cheerleading camp and exterminate him before the world collides. In the end Gerdie stuck in the multiverse when Heathcliff tried to take over the world.
NERDS: The Villain Virus (2012)
The deadly virus that turns people into criminals spread through Arlington and Julio "Flinch" Escala must lead the team, which is immune to viruses, to stop the virus while former Dumb Vinci criminals have their own agenda.
NERDS: Attack of the Bullies (2013)
Miss Holiday, now a Nasty Information Miss, has assembled her own children's teams with their own super nanobyte enhancement, naming them the Brotherhood of Unstoppable Liars, Lowlifes, and Intimidation of Enemy Communities (aka BULLIES), who plan to go backwards to past and prevent NERDS from ever existed. Pey's Ruby "Pufferfish" team mates began to disappear one by one, and he recruited Brand Agents and Heathcliff Hodges to return to the 1970s and help the original nerdy secret agent ensure that the future is not erased from existence.

Movies
In January 2012 it was reported that Elton John Rocket Pictures has acquired the film rights for the series, to produce feature animated feature films. The film will be written by the series' creator, Michael Buckley, produced by Steve Hamilton Shaw and David Furnish, and executives produced by Elton John. Starting in 2017, no recent updates have been reported for this movie.
