Francia Raisa Almendarez (born July 26, 1988) is an American actress. Raisa is known for her role in Bring It On: All or Nothing, The Secret Life of American Teenager and Grown-ish.

Early life and education
Raisa was born and raised in Los Angeles, California to Virginia's mother AlmendÃÆ'árez (nÃÆ' à © e Pelayo) and RenÃÆ'án's father AlmendÃÆ'árez Coello, an American radio character. He is of Mexican and Honduran descent. She has two younger sisters. A few years after Raisa was born, her father began using her new Latin radio personality, "El Cucuy".
Raisa attends Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills, California, where she becomes a cheerleader.

Careers
Raisa started taking acting in the first year of high school, modeling for print ads and appearing in ads. He is a guest star in the sitcom comic situation American Family: Journey of Dreams and Over There . One month into his senior year, he booked one of his first major roles, starring Hayden Panettiere at Bring It On: All or Nothing . She starred in Nickelodeon's Shredderman Rules , where she described Isabel, and at The Cutting Edge: The Pursuit of Dream and The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice < as Alejandra Delgado. He played the role of Adrian Lee in the hit ABC Family drama, The Life of the American Teen Secret , since the beginning of July 2008, until the end of the series in early June 2013.
Raisa appeared in Lil 'Romeo's "My Girlfriend" music video as Tamy in 2004 and in Iyaz's "So Big" music video.
In 2009, Raisa guested on the US network TV series In Plain Sight and starred in a short film directed by David Henrie titled Boo , which was broadcast on YouTube.
Raisa appeared in the music video for pop duo Savvy & amp; Mandy and guest star in second season Degrassi: The Next Generation .
In 2013, Raisa starred in the Christmas-themed Christmas Prize with Mike "The Miz" Mizanin.
In early 2018, Raisa will star in a Freeform show, Grown-ish, executives produced by Black-ish creator of Kenya Barris.
Personal life
Raisa was born in Los Angeles.
In the summer of 2017, Raisa donated one of her kidneys to her friend, actress and singer Selena Gomez, who suffered from lupus.
