Cheer Chen Chi-chen (Simplified Chinese: traditional Chinese: ; pinyin: ChÃÆ' à © n Q? zh? n , born June 6, 1975) is a singer-songwriter origin Taiwan.

Chen was born on June 6, 1975 in Taipei. He has a younger brother.
When he was very young, his parents divorced. The two children were raised only by their mother. Though all three suffer from old pain, her mother still supports her hobby in music.
Chen is an alumnus of Taipei City Jingmei Junior High School (??????????) and Chengchi National University (??????).
Chen Little School Song (Chinese: ????) is generally confirmed as an unofficial theme song from Taipei Municipal Senior High School Jingmei Girls.

Careers
Graduated from Taiwan National Chengchi University (Chen Philosophy), Chen played in the underground band ( Sunscreen ???) as a vocalist and guitarist in the 1990s before he joined Rock Records. After at a pub show, Chen was noticed and praised by rock music giant Wu Bai. In 1997 he joined Magicstone, a subsidiary label under Rock Records and his debut album Think Twice was released in July 1998. Since 2003 he published his own music independently and now he under Teamear Music
He is reportedly worried about environmental problems. He has often been involved in public activities and public welfare. Being the first female singer to appear on the Taipei Arena stage, she often reminds people to pursue their ambitions boldly and always dream for a better tomorrow. He said, " There may be people feel themselves fragile, unimportant and vulnerable, but they may be the sun that shines for others, just as the heat of the Sun can not be approached but it keeps the mother of the earth from afar even at night , life may not be smooth for everyone at all stages, but we must always embrace hope for a better tomorrow. "
Chen has also appeared on stage several times with the famous Taiwan band Mayday. She sings a duet with Ashin (???), the band's lead vocalist, in a cheery love song Eloping To The Moon (?????). Ashin also claimed that in Taipei, the only artist who performed better than Mayday was Cheer Chen. Ashin further acknowledged Cheer's intellectual lyric on his blog, " Cheer is a fantastic lyricist, the lyrics look like soft, harmless but really sharp knives. "
Most of Chen's songs are in Mandarin, and sometimes in other languages ââlike English. He wrote most of his own music and lyrics. His first record was Demo 1 released in September 1997. To date he has published 6 studio albums, 4 demo CDs, 6 singles, 2 compilations, 5 DVDs, and one collection of photography books (lomography). He usually appears with the Gibson Hummingbird acoustic guitar.
Chen has produced several records independently since he left Rock Records in 2003. In 2004 & amp; 2005, he is featured in two Seasons Lee's ads The Blues Jeans with Stanley Huang. The ad song he authored Live in Silence (?????) was then rearranged and republished on his fourth album Peripeteia . In 2009, he became a spokesperson for Nikon Coolpix S620, and in 2010 for the Nikon D5000 & amp; Nikon D3100. In 2010 he was also featured in Adidas Originals ad along with many other world celebrities including Hyori Lee, David Beckham and Oasis. In May 2011, he became a spokesperson for Sokenbicha herbs for the Taiwan market.
In 2006, Chen's fourth album Peripeteia won Best Music Album Producer (Tiger Chung) and Best Music Video award at the 17th Golden Melody Awards. During the same year, she was also nominated for Best Female Singer and Best Album of the Year. In 2010 she was nominated as Best Songwriter ( The Edge ?).
In 2009, Chen released his fifth album Immortal, recorded unusually in his own wardrobe in place of the right studio. The album was dominated by Grammy Award winner Bernie Grundman and was awarded one of the top 10 Best Selling Mandarin Albums of the Year at the IFPI Hong Kong Album Sales Awards 2009. Back from 2008, Chen began touring his concert tour, with the same theme with the new album Immortal . The tour continued around Taiwan, China Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, and he held his first concert in Melbourne on March 11, 2011.
Since 2012, he has formed a band along with Tiger Chung and Chien-Chi Chen called "The Verse" (formerly an electronic duo named "The Voice") featuring downbeat/downtempo experimental music style and French.
In November 2016, Chen performed at Clockenflap in Hong Kong.
