Plot
The film features three 14-year-old girls: Dawn (Miriam McDonald), Becca (Megan Park), and Hannah (Alexis Dziena). Hannah soon finds herself accepting peer pressure from her friends to engage in oral sex with Nick Hartman, a nice boy whom Hannah likes. He believes that he must behave in a certain way to fit his more sexually active peers.
When Hannah becomes more "sexually advanced", she does not disclose her sexual encounters and activities with Nick to her mother, who cares enough about the subject. Hannah considers her mother's attention as annoying, knowing she'll be surprised if she finds out. When Hannah's best friend, Dawn, suffered from syphilis, the school nurses started doing extensive testing. It soon became clear that the school was experiencing an epidemic.
Although Nick is identified as a major disease spreader, he does not appreciate the serious nature of the matter and refuses to be tested, mocking those who underwent tests. Dawn was reluctantly tested and found that he had the disease. He realized the consequences of his behavior and encouraged his friends to be tested as well. Hannah felt pain in her mouth one morning and decided to go to the nurse, who told Hannah that she was also infected. Thus, Hannah was forced to face the consequences of her actions.
When Hannah's mother found out about the spread of syphilis, she launched an effort to remind parents about the dangerous behavior of their children. Though he believes that other parents will share his level of concern in helping their children, he is surprised by some indifferent attitudes of parents to the actions of their children.
Meanwhile, Becca gets angry when her religious parents (who do not know about her sexual history) decide to send her to boarding school, and Hannah is estranged at school because of her mother. He left his home one night and went to the house of his friend Tommy. They both realize they like each other and experiment. Hannah wants to have sex, but Tommy refuses, explaining that she likes him but wants to wait, because they are too young. Hannah becomes increasingly emotional, thinking she's not interested because she's called a 'whore' and runs off. When Hannah's parents return home and see that she's gone, her mother goes looking for her. Walking alone on the road, Hannah summoned Dawn and Becca. The dawn is on earth and is not allowed to talk to Hannah, and Becca is making out in the car with two boys and not hearing her phone.
Hannah went to a party, where many children from her school attended, looking for Becca. Brad, the party host, directs Hannah into the basement, and when she realizes that Becca is not there, she tries to have sex with her. She refused, but she tried to force her inside. Tommy bursts into the room, takes Brad's picture and threatens to send him to 9-1-1. Brad left Hannah and ended the party.
Tommy takes Hannah back to her house and calls her parents. They came to pick her up, relieved to see she was all right. Hannah apologizes to them and her mother promises that things will be better from now on. The end of the film shows Becca having slipped back into his room and started crying. Dawn played Scrabble with her mother when her sister Tess, who did not play, slipped into Dawn's room. There, he picks up one of Dawn's "sexy shirts, takes off his glasses and model in front of the mirror, implying that he might try to 'like Dawn'.
At the end of the film, Hannah appears to provide public service announcements that encourage teenagers to wait for sex because of physical and emotional consequences.
