Plot

At the Abyssinian King's palace in 50 BC, Princess Nawa uses a pair of magic earrings to escape the matchmaking by changing her body with a girl. When every woman wears one of the earrings, their bodies magically trade places while their minds remain where they are.

On this day, Jessica Spencer is a popular high school girl in the suburbs of California with her friends April, Keecia, and Lulu. April is Jessica's best friend, and the four girls are cheerleaders. At school one day, Jessica mocks a bigger girl named Hildenburg and a wiccan girl named Eden. After that, Jessica and her friends visit a local mall, where Jessica frames her rival Bianca for shoplifting, and finds earrings in an African-themed shop. The earrings were not for sale, so Jessica stole them.

Shortly after, a small villain named Clive Maxtone robbed a nearby gas station. When Jessica and her friends stop there and think of her as an employee, she serves their car to avoid suspicion. Jessica accidentally dropped one of the earrings on the ground, and Clive picked it up after the girls left. That night, Jessica and Clive were wearing their earrings. When they wake up the next morning, each trapped in someone else's body. It's very difficult for Jessica, who has a cheerleading competition and a school party coming soon. Though initially difficult, Jessica convinced April, Keecia, and Lulu about her true identity.

The girls wrote a list of suspects who could be held accountable. They first looked for Hildenburg, where Jessica apologized for embarrassing her in front of the whole school during the previous basketball game, and both made mistakes. They immediately searched for Eden, where Jessica also apologized for her jealousy Eden got the only "A" on Salem wizard trial report. Eden reveals an ancient Latin magic called "Santeria", which originated in Africa, and found its way to Cuba and Brazil. Lulu connects this relationship with Bianca, but Eden reveals that only a scorpion tattoo on his back can confirm this. While investigating at a dance club called 'Tang Instant', Bianca proved innocent after Jessica tore her shirt to see if she had a tattoo, which she did not.

The girls then found a picture of earrings on the internet, and the girls posted leaflets across the city. They also get help from the awkward mother Keecia and Venetia and Sissie, the twin siblings who are in Jessica's cheerleading squad. The girls told Madame Mambuza, the owner of an African shop in the mall. Madame Mambuza tells the girls the story of Princess Nawa, who, after changing her body, does not realize that she should return the earring. Nawa lived the rest of her life in a slave body. Jessica could suffer the same fate if she did not unite the earrings before the end of the full moon.

Meanwhile, Jessica was hired for two jobs while secretly living with April. At his home, where he worked as a gardener named Taquito, his parents told him about their marital problems and he helped them revive their sex life. At school, while cleaning the boys' locker room as a janitor, he spies on his lover, Billy, who really loves her and April's boyfriend, Jake, who secretly has another girlfriend named Monique. Faced with Jake's affair, April broke up with her, and Jessica agreed to take her to the dance. At the cheerleader competition, Jessica gives Billy a romantic gesture while posing as a school mascot, but when her suit head falls, she becomes confused and leaves with Bianca.

During this time, Clive had used Jessica's body to make money from men, including Billy, who gave her money and cars, believing she was Jessica. On the prom night, Hildenburg sees Clive's video robbing a guy on the television news and going to the scene. After finding a business card for the club where Clive worked as a pole dancer, she told Jessica at the prom, and the girls went to the club. When they find Clive, Jessica steals back the earrings and puts it to herself with the others. With two earrings now on the same person, Jessica and Clive's body returns to its original owner.

After Jessica makes up with Billy, the movie ends with a school graduation ceremony, where Keecia and her mother are at peace. The night before, Clive, running from law and still wearing underwear, jumped into the same bartender's car as Jessica found in Clive's body. The bartender smiled and locked the car door. The movie ends with a speeding car, and Clive turns and shouts.
